About The Cherry Hill farm

In the 1950’ies a farmer and his family lived here on the farm’s 15 hectoacre fields. Since then a lot of things haves happened. Britta and Göran moved here in year 2000.

We built and furnished four rooms in the former cow stable. Each room is equipped with its own shower and toilet. The breakfast is served in a shared kitchen or in the old pig’s shed, which has beenis turned into a lounge  or outside ion the court yard where the dunghill was historically located. In the kitchen you have the ability to prepare simple meals. A shared sauna is available for our guests as well as a lounge  with a fire place. A field for horses is available for riding guests. Dogs are also welcome.

We also have our own animals. We have sheep of a Texel-mix as well as Gothland free range sheep  We have around 10 ewes and after April about 20  lambs. There are two Icelandic horses named Kolfaxi and Nagli. Our dog is named Soffi and is a king’s poodle. Too many cats – some of them are very cuddly while the others mostly hunt. The hens are an alert breed that used to be called the poor man’s hen because of its unassuming nature.

Around the farm is the smiling and varying Linderods ridge, the east coast’s endless white sand shores, and all of Osterlen’s charming options for nature and culture, bike paths, golf, riding and much more. Just ask if you need help with choosing hiking, riding or biking tours.

At ours you live peacefully, surrounded by fields and cherry trees. Here there are many nice places to sit for a while and enjoy the nature around the farm.

The Gallery – lounge with fireplace
Here we have exhibitions during Eastern. If it rains the guests eat breakfast here, and , in the evenings we light a fire if the weather is cold. Here there are brochures, books and board games. This room and the kitchen are also available to rent for small parties. The kitchen contains a stove with two burners, fridge, micro, and what you need for simple cooking.

Little square
Malmö has a little square where everybody sits and we wanted the same. For us it’s the old dung hill. Here you eat breakfast on nice summer mornings and smell the herb plants. In the evenings the concrete retains the heat so you can enjoy the sunset and see the stars light up.

The greenhouse
It was completed during spring 2007 and is now a comfortable green oasis for our guestes.

The back pocket
A small shady place north of the house if you don’t want to sit in the sun or want to see the horses being saddled or the rooster courting his wivfes.

The Side House (Undantaget)
A small stone house that we restored and furnished for your own house keeping. With a sleeping loft, a small kitchen, shower and toilet. Up to five persons can live here comfortablely and some 100 m separate from the farm.
